Helen you are the perfect host and your B & B is just a lovely place to stay and unwind after the stress of the week. We loved our room and your breakfast was perfectly cooked. A walk to the lake on a sunny day is a must for the soul. We have stayed in many B & B's, yours is at the top of our list and will be staying again, this time I will book a Reflexology treatment. We spent a couple of nights here over Easter and had a truly wonderful time. Helen has a natural ability to make people feel welcome in her home and that is the true selling point of this B&B. Our room was tastefeully decorated and spotless, as was the ensuite. On arrival, we found Helen waiting for us in the drive, a very welcome sight after a long drive from Cambridge. Over a welcome pot of tea and welsh cakes in the lovely garden, we got all the information we needed from Helen about the local area. The B&B is surrounded by beautiful countryside, ideal for long walks to the nearby lake. Breakfast was a cozy affair in a kitchen full of character. accompanied by Helen suggesting activities for the day. We were well taken care of and it really felt like a home away from home. We would definitely recommend to our friends and visit again on our next trip to Wales.

We spent a lovely night here last Friday taking our son Josh to see Wales vs England. We received a very warm welcome from Helen who having shown us our room made us a welcome cup of tea with traditional welsh cakes. This a very family friendly estabishment our son Josh soon made himself at home. Our room was lovely very nicely decorated with wonderfully comfortable bed which was very welcome after our trip to the rugby! The following morning we had a lovely home cooked breakfast to set us up for our drive home. Thank you Helen, when we next visit Cardiff we will certainly be back!!!!

We enjoyed a three night stay at Plas Hen Guest House. (5th -8th Nov 2010) The room decor was lovely with a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside, very peaceful. Helen made us very welcome and was a mine of information about the surrounding area. Very useful as it was our first visit to this part of Wales. The farmhouse breakfast was delicious and cooked to perfection. If you are into walking, a paradise right on the doorstep, if not, only a few minutes to link up with the main road into Cardiff. Thoroughly recommend a stay.

Plas Hen is a luxury B&B which will not dissappoint anyone whom stays there, set in beautiful surroundings, with lovely rooms( ours was the executive suite), a full hearty breakfast cooked on the argor, I only wish our stay was longer, we would definately stay again.
